“1000 Steps” is a new Project I began after I relocated for a new job located in Oshkosh, WI. The project name derives from the number of steps it takes to walk around my office building in a full circle. Using a Yashica Microtech Zoom 70 point and shoot camera I purchased from a Goodwill that was located about a mile away from work, I started to look for and capture subjects within various 1000 step loops around my place of work. For the project I have restricted my self to only using only a point and shoot type 35mm camera and color film to capture subjects within any 1000 step loop from the front door of my work office I may take. I use my Fitbit watch to count my steps as I walk the loops to ensure I am not going too far away from my starting point.
